I’m going to Dublin and other points in March, 2020. Third trip.
Did you use a tripod for this shot? I’m trying to avoid bringing one
for weight reasons. I will attempt to find an anchor like a ledge or
pole to get my stillness for a shot. Will be going to Temple Bar,
Cliffs of Moher, Wicklow, Kilkenny, Bunratty, Rock of Cashel,
Dublin places, etc. Six day trip. Any suggestions?…
Hi John, I did use a tripod for this shot, but I don’t really carry one around anymore if I am traveling either. I find there is usually somewhere to rest it on if I want a long exposure, and my current camera is pretty good in low light, so most of the time I feel fine without one. I might bring a gorilla pod but don’t end up using it much. That sounds like a great trip!
